A hidden gem nearby is Tung Sen restaurant, offering a delicious alternative to the same-same food in the main street. I will definitely be coming back to this homestay whenever I visit Ninh Binh.

This place is built right up against one of the karsts, offering a great view of the surrounding rice fields. The owner and David, the manager, are very helpful and accommodating. They invited me to join their friends' birthday party and made me feel welcomed. The location is quiet and peaceful, just a 10-minute walk from the Tam Coc Boating Station.
